I’ve been lazy, and procrastinating and demotivated and working late and just plain lazy. Have you noticed I haven’t blogged in, what has it been, two weeks? Well, in case you did, I’m back and I’m going to try and be more regular.
On to this week’s Snapshot Sunday post (which I missed last week, sigh).
About four years ago when I was in Dubai, my friend and I decided to take a long drive into the middle of nowhere. We were on our way back to the city, when we spotted this herd (or is it caravan? Or flock?) just hanging around in the desert. It was somewhere in or near Umm Al Quwain and they belonged to a Bedouin.
Because I love any and every chance to pet an animal, domesticated or not, we stopped and got out of the car. My friend, on the other hand, saw a photo-op and got a few hilarious pictures of me (trying) to pet the camels.
You’ve already seen the featured image. But now that I’ve already embarrassed myself, why stop there. Here are a few more snaps:
Photo Credits go to my friend Ashford Fernandez.
Hehe… the same thing happened to us once. Hubby has a hilarious series of pictures that starts with me enthusiastically petting every willing camel and ends with me being chased by an over friendly one that couldn’t get enough of the petting! I had to race back to the car and shut myself inside to get away from my new ‘friend’ 🙂

Hahaha…oh wow! Don’t the camels look so much better in the pictures? And I never thought they had such expressive faces. Lol.
